Ever since I can remember, fashion has come as naturally as knowing how to walk — it’s instinctual. Fashion is its own language. It can communicate, inspire, encourage and will forever be personal. In this day and age, it takes no more than a few seconds to access the latest trends and news, but it can be harder than ever to see how fashion can be personalized into your own life.
Here at the Savannah College of Art and Design, our fashion students are driven to immerse themselves in the industry. Our blog, The Manor, focuses on the fashion of Savannah and its locals and on why fashion is important to them. We want to provide students with an outlet to express this passion for fashion so they will learn more about the industry and will discover how to own their personal style with confidence.
The Manor welcomes students from across the world and with different backgrounds, uniting them under the same roof where everyone shares the same exuberance for fashion.
If there is one thing I have learned, it is that fashion is not successful with just one person. This blog wishes to collaborate with local stores, companies, students and other bloggers to promote brilliance and allow the people we are surrounded by to shine.
It has been said that “the best accessory a girl can own is her confidence.” Tomorrow, we launch The Manor with hopes of encouraging confidence, even in the the constantly critical world of fashion.
I am honored to present to you, The Manor.
