In 1978 a woman by the name of Paula Poetter made her way to Savannah, Georgia in a Volkswagen Bug with the dream to open up what is now known as SCAD. This past weekend, SCAD celebrated it’s 40 year anniversary and the community reveled with the music, food, and of course the art. Events ranged from the block party in the Madison square, where it all began, to the Sidewalk Arts Festival.
