What: Savannah Music Festival, Georgia’s largest musical arts festival
When: March 20 – April 6, 2013
Where: Various locations throughout downtown Savannah
Now in its 24th year, the Savannah Music Festival is looking for volunteers to help with a variety of tasks including ticketing, poster distribution, ushering and production assistance, and artist/patron hospitality.
The SMF will feature over 70 live performances during the two-week festival. From jazz, folk, symphonic, dance, international, to rock, the festival highlights musicians from across the United States and the world (to view the events calendar, click here).
Volunteers receive a free SMF T-shirt as well as free access to shows they work.
To sign up to assist with this year’s festival, visit Hands On Savannah and create a profile. After doing so, type “SMF” and “31401” in the search fields and select the shows for which you are interested in volunteering.
