With SCAD classes taking place mostly online, it can be hard for students to feel connected to their university and the opportunities it offers. Here is a list of popular events that will help you get involved with the SCAD community.
This year’s SCAD Atlanta’s aTVfest is entirely virtual, and takes place Feb. 4-6. With this change, audiences will be able to access aTVfest content from all across the world. Screenings, panels, Q and As, master classes, and all other aTVfest programming will still be available through the online festival.

Students can submit their work by Jan. 17 to be displayed in the 2021 Drawing Works exhibition, a competition aimed at “surveying experimental gestures in diverse artistic practices,” according to the website. Using a variety of media and methods, students will compete for a top prize of $1000.
