Every orientation advisor, staff and faculty member will tell you the basic places that take SCAD Cards. Most of these are SCAD owned and operated facilities like J.O.’s, ShopSCAD, Streamliner, Turner House Express, PhotoSCAD, etc. What they don’t always tell you about are the many off campus local businesses that also accept the SCAD Card. Knowing where these businesses are located can come in handy now and in the future. The top three to know are Akins and Bob Motors when your car rejects Savannah’s road construction and temperatures, Dr. Carol Brown when your eyes get foggy or you lose your glasses from studying so hard, and Memorial Health when you’re not feeling so well. The rest are just good to know when you’re going out with friends, getting work printed or anything else.
