SCAD prepares for 2018 aTVfest in Atlanta

SCAD will host its sixth annual SCAD aTVfest at the Atlanta campus from Thursday, Feb. 1 through Saturday, Feb. 3. The international event is Atlanta’s only TV festival, and this year’s lineup features industry-leading producers, directors, writers and actors from shows from ABC, Amazon, CBS, CW and HBO to name a few. This year’s festival will specifically honor actors Zach Braff and Alan Cumming, both of whom will attend screenings of episodes from their respective shows at the SCADshow theater.

The event attracts more than 6,000 attendees annually, who come to discover the latest design, creativity and innovation in television and media production. Aside from screenings, SCAD aTVfest will host workshops and panels spread out across several SCAD Atlanta locations, including the SCADshow theater and the main SCAD Atlanta campus at 1600 Peachtree St.
