SCAD Queers and Allies bent genders at annual ball

The SCAD Queers and Allies club hosted the Gender Bender Ball Saturday, Oct. 18, in the Student Center. Approximately 100 students, many of them dressed up to participate in the cross-dressing tradition, attended the event. Ballgoers donated canned food in exchange for raffle tickets to win prizes and participated in costume competitions, including King and Queen, Hottest Mess, Best Costume and Most Spoopiest. There were also drag queen performances and, of course, music and dancing.
