For students today, music plays a huge role in productivity, inspiration and attitude. It can be such a subtle aspect of life, but it carries so much weight. It’s a different experience for each individual. Some may follow trends in popular music more closely, while others find artists with smaller followings that they truly connect with. No matter what the case is, everyone has aspects of their music taste that they may be more private about. Whether that be the Justin Bieber song that’s stayed on your playlist from when you were 12, or the Jimmy Buffet song your dad played on Saturday mornings while making breakfast that still brings you back to those memories. The Sounds of SCAD playlist captures the guilty pleasure songs of a variety of students.
