Student filmmakers go to hell and back with “Damn Frank”

By Vicky Jenkinson

“Damn Frank,” the first SCAD student film to be shot in 3D, completed its last scenes on April 10 at Savannah’s Historic Theatre on Bull Street. While the entire evening was hectic for the student filmmakers with actors waiting for make up and grips preparing equipment for smooth filming, it ended with a bang as a live band and large team of extras came together to shoot the final scene.

Both a 3D production and a musical, “Damn Frank” is about a Blues artist named Frank who sold his soul to the devil for musical success. All in all, this film is going to be an exciting one. Watch out for “Damn Frank”—it would be a sin to miss it.
