Since I’ll be spending my last summer in Savannah, GA I thought I would share my summer bucket list of all the things I want to do in the area before the beginning of my senior year!
Outdoor Yoga Session
I have seen these everywhere online and I know that Savannah hosts yoga sessions in the park from time to time. This is something I definitely want to try out especially now with the warmer weather.
Beach Day Bliss
I feel like I haven’t been to the beach a lot this year and with the summer coming up, I now have an excuse to go! I cannot wait to sit and relax with more free time.
Vintage/Antique Shopping
There are so many great small antique and vintage shops I have yet to explore and now I will definitely have the time to go!
Outdoor Concert Experience
I know in the summer there are a couple outdoor concerts in Savannah and I want the chance to go to at least one concert here.
Sunset Picnic
This has been on my bucket list for awhile now, but definitely this summer I want to have a sunset picnic. Whether it’s big or small, I feel like it will be a great activity to hang out with friends and get outside.
Farmers’ Market Exploration
Even though I don’t live that far from Forsyth Park, I never have time to enjoy the farmers’ market. Now, I cannot wait to explore more of the local shops and artists that are at the market every Saturday.
Botanical Garden Visit
I’ve heard nothing but good things about the Savannah Botanical Gardens. I would love to just sit, relax and enjoy the serenity of the blooms and ponds.
Scenic Drives
Over summer break I would love to cruise along Savannah’s scenic sites. I want to enjoy more of the beautiful routes that Savannah has to offer, especially on the way to Tybee!
Isle of Hope
My professor, who was born and raised in Savannah, recommended visiting Isle of Hope but I have never gotten the chance. It’s supposedly filled with charming cottages and waterfront vistas. I definitely want to explore and see this new side to Savannah.
Coffee Shop Dates
Even though I lived here for almost three years now, there’s still so many other coffee shops I have not tried. I will be spending a lot of time in coffee shops now that I will be taking summer classes!
Overall, I feel like this is a successful start to a great local summer bucket list. If you have any other recommendations, please share!
