Kathleen Glasgow is the author of Girl in Pieces, a New York Times bestselling young adult novel that deals with the themes of self-harm, mental illness, and what it means to find a home. In this interview, Glasgow talks about what it was like to confront such heavy themes, and gives tips on creating and sustaining a career in the arts.
