Welcome to Taurus season, which runs between April 20 May 20. The Taurus symbol is a bull, which makes them strong, intelligent, stubborn and hardworking. Taureans love stability and consistency; they are considered the anchor of the zodiac. They love to work hard and play hard.
Taureans are ruled by the planet Venus, named for the goddess of love and luxury. Venus ruling over Taurus means they love the finer things in life. Anything from food, home, love, career and nature. This can lead to taking pleasure-seeking habits a bit too far, but they can be very content if kept balanced.
The most compatible signs for Taurus are Pisces, Cancer, Virgo and Capricorn. Taureans won’t rush into a relationship with just anyone, but they are very loyal and genuine partners when they do. They need to remember not to bottle up their emotions or they will eventually explode.
This editorial reflects my view on the Taurus sign. I tried to capture the beauty and elegance of Taureans, while keeping the stable earth element. Model Elena Dorsey, a third-year year fashion design student, is a Taurus herself, making her a perfect fit for this shoot.
