“The Year of Spectacular Men” follows Izzy as she struggles to navigate the incessant failures of adulthood, the reality of a substandard dating pool and a debilitating fear of top-sheets, all in between X-Files marathons.
The film is directed by Lea Thompson, from a screenplay written by her daughter Madelyn Deutch and stars her other daughter and Rising Star Award Recipient Zoey Deutch.
