Feb. 18

11 a.m. – A student was stung by a wasp at Anderson Hall. Emergency medical personnel responded and determined the student could return to class.

1:30 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Pulaski House. The alarm was determined to have been caused by a student cooking and was reset.

9 p.m. – A student reported receiving a threatening message on her Facebook page. A police report was filed.

5:30 p.m. – Security responded to a fire alarm at a Barnard Village room. The student in the room was not cooking. The fire panel indicated a problem in another room, which was also checked with negative results.

7 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Barnard Village. The alarm was determined to have been caused by a student cooking and was reset.

Feb. 19

2 p.m. – A student reported that while working on a project near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and 56th Street, her color meter went missing. A police report was filed.

1:38 p.m. – A student reported that her vehicle had been struck while parked at Boundary Hall. A police report was filed.

5:41 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department
responded to a fire alarm at Barnard Village. The alarm was determined to have been caused by a student cooking and was reset.

Feb. 20

3 p.m. – A student reported that her bicycle was missing from where she had locked it in front of Oglethorpe House. A police report was filed.

Feb. 21

2 p.m. – A college bus driver was involved in a traffic accident near the intersection of Liberty and East Broad streets. A police report was filed.

4:45 p.m. – A student reported that two individuals approached him and asked for money and cigarettes near the intersection of Fahm and Bryan streets. When the student said he didn’t have any, one of the individuals reached into the student’s pocket and took a cassette tape. The student did not wish to file a report.

9:10 p.m. – Security responded to an alarm at shopSCAD. Nothing was found out of the ordinary.

Feb. 22

12:42 a.m. – Security responded to an alarm at Barnard Village. Nothing was found out of the ordinary, but the alarm would not reset.

12:42 p.m. – Security discovered the front door of River Club unsecured. Nothing was found out of the ordinary and the door was secured.

7:35 p.m. – A student slipped and hurt his ankle at Café SCAD. Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the student for treatment.

11 p.m. – A student reported that while walking with another student near the intersection of Oglethorpe and Habersham streets, they were approached by an individual with a gun who instructed the students to empty their pockets. The students gave the individual cash and a cell phone, and the suspect ran off and fired the gun in the air. A police report was filed

Feb. 23

12:42 p.m. – Security and the Savannah Fire Department responded to a fire alarm at Barnard Village. The alarm was determined to have been caused by a student cooking and was reset.

12:45 p.m. – A student became ill at Dyson House. Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the student for treatment.

Feb. 24

4:20 a.m. – Security found a student lying on the floor at Eichberg Hall with three empty wine bottles nearby. Emergency medical personnel responded but the student refused treatment.

6 a.m. – A student reported that her vehicle was missing from where she had parked it on Perry Street. A police report was filed.

11:14 p.m. – Security responded to an alarm at Barnard Village. Nothing was found out of the ordinary, but the alarm would not reset.
