Drink coffee with cats at Pounce Cat Cafe

As midterms pass, you might be looking for a way to relieve your stress. If so, be sure to check out Pounce Cat Cafe, the south’s first cat cafe. For $15, you can play or cuddle with rescued cats for one hour while enjoying a drink of your choice. The cafe also offers freshly baked pastries from a local bakery. According to their website, the mission of Pounce Cat Cafe is to “significantly increase shelter cats’ visibility and their chances for being adopted!” Over the weekend, I had a chance to hang out with these cute cats and thoroughly enjoyed my time with Checkers, Tampa, Boyd and Farley. A benefit of Pounce Cat Cafe is that if you fall in love with a cat while you’re there, you can adopt them!
