BooLand combines community outreach with Halloween fun

When: Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
BooLand is an Abercorn Terrace community outreach program that will take place this Halloween, Oct. 31. The program began as an idea to provide local elementary school students a safe place to trick-or-treat.
It has since grown into a Halloween carnival of sorts, with over 1,000 local students invited and nearly 50 student volunteers. BooLand will have a variety of Halloween fun and games, such as cookie decorating and candy apple dipping, but it is also a way for SCAD to give back to the community.
Come out to the Abercorn Terrace Residence Hall this Wednesday and experience the fun of giving back.
