Dogs take over downtown for Pup Crawl

Puppies of all kinds were seen hopping all around the pubs of downtown Savannah late Thursday night for the 2016 Pup Crawl, which is hosted by the Humane Society for a Greater Savannah.

“To gather people and their dogs for a fun evening to support the humane society,” said Humane Society Executive Director, Michelle Thevenin in regards to the goal of the event.

The Pup Crawl is one of the main fundraising events for the Humane Society here in Savannah. Their other events include their Dog Lovers Walk on Nov. 12 on Skidaway Island and Doggie Carnival in the spring time at Forsyth Park, which raises the most money for the society.
