Savannah College of Art and Design alumnus Ryan E. McCullough (B.F.A., Sound Design, 2011) was named one of the top 10 finalist in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Space Rock competition. McCullough’s original work titled “Boogie Woogie Shuttle” was selected from the 1,350 songs submitted.
NASA wants the public to vote on their favorite original song to wake up space shuttle Commander Mark Kelly and his five crew mates during their STS-134 mission to the International Space Station.
The two songs with the most votes will be the songs used as wake-up music for a shuttle crew. Voting ends April 19. For more information on the contest and to vote, visit their website.
