A SCAD student is in critical condition in the intensive care unit of Memorial University Medical Center after colliding with a tour bus Saturday afternoon.
The student was riding her bicycle against traffic going south on one-way, northbound Montgomery Street. She was struck by a Ghost and Gravestone Tour bus that was traveling east on Oglethorpe Street.
Traffic from Montgomery Street and east-bound Oglethorpe Street was re-directed for several hours as Savannah-Chatam Metropolitan Police Major Accident Investigation Team and Forensics investigated the accident. SCAD security are assisting in the ongoing investigation.
