The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department released the 2011 St. Patrick’s Day Parade route.
The streets impacted by closures are highlighted in blue, and the parade route is highlighted in red. Road closures along the parade route go into effect at 6 a.m. on the day of the parade, March 17. Highlighted areas of Bay, Broughton and Bull streets will close at 8 a.m. River Street and its ramps close at 4 p.m. on March 16 and remain closed until 4 p.m. March 20. The highlighted streets surrounding Ellis Square and City Market will be closed 4 p.m. until 4 a.m. each evening starting March 16 until March 19.
