On the afternoon of May 5, Counter Narcotics Team agents, along with the Chatham County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit and the Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police Department, conducted two search warrants on Savannah’s Eastside. The warrants yielded an undisclosed amount of cocaine and marijuana, various items used to distribute illegal controlled substances and four firearms—one of which had recently been reported stolen. A vehicle was also seized during the operation.
CNT arrested David Antonio Hudson Jr., 30, Antonio Charles Grant, 29, and Shawn Ashley Hayes, 28.
The search warrants were the conclusion of a two month investigation during which undercover CNT agents made several purchases of cocaine from Hudson and Hayes. They identified Grant as an associate of the two men.
