A 10-year-old boy and his 14-year-old brother were in a stolen vehicle when they collided with a FedEx truck on the morning of June 13.
When officers responded to the accident at Millen Street and Augusta Avenue, they found the 10-year-old boy had sustained minor injuries, but his brother had fled the scene. The boy told officers that he and his brothers had been given the vehicle by some teenagers and that he and his brother were operating it together: one boy steering while the other worked the pedals.
Both boys will be charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
