Today at 2 p.m., Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever hit the big screen with a hilarious coming of age story. The screening of the film “Booksmart” was followed by a Q&A with first-time director Olivia Wilde, accompanied by moderator Scott Feinberg from the Hollywood Reporter. Wilde talked about the beauty of film collaborations and her working relationship with the screenwriter. She also spoke upon the importance of casting and the excitement she felt when the main characters, Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever, first got together. From actor to director, Wilde will now take on the task of acting and directing in her own film.
