Opening night of Savannah Film Festival cloudy with a chance of stars

Cloudy skies and a little wind couldn’t stop the Savannah Film Festival, which opened Saturday night with a reception on Broughton Street for attendees and stars alike.

Adam Shankman, Gabourey Sidibe and James Gandolfini were amongst those mingling outside Trustees Theater before a screening of “Silver Linings Playbook.”

The festival will continue through Nov. 3 with exclusive screenings, Q&A’s, panels and celebrity sightings.

Stay tuned for continuing coverage of the 2012 Savannah Film Festival.
