From frostbite at 36,000 feet to a box of chocolates on a park bench, SCAD Savannah Film Festival attendees experienced timeless and unreleased films from all over the world at opening day yesterday. Honored guests like Danielle Macdonald, Tom Harper, Alan Silvestri and more shared a moment with their audiences on the red carpet and stage, affirming SCAD’s standing as the largest university-run film fest in the country. Fueled by pop color, larger than lifesize popcorn, SCAD Beach and slug bug photo booths, SCAD will celebrate its 22nd annual festival until Nov. 2.
