On April 25 and 26, SwarmCon was held at the Coastal Georgia Center in Savannah. SwarmCon is a convention for comics, animations and video games and its focus is to create a fun environment to discuss these forms of art. Posters, plushes and stickers were sold in the Artist Alley and at the Maid Cafe, and convention goers were served tea and other refreshments while they sketched away on the tablecloths. There were also panel discussions, a video game room and a cosplay competition. SwarmCon donates event proceeds to an art-based charity of their choice.
