Tara Galal is a third-year printmaking student with a minor in photography. Photography first captured her interest during high school and she further explored it during the SCAD Rising Star program in 2004, along with film and video. She describes her printmaking as following an organic process in which she embraces mistakes and prefers a less structured plan. For now, Galal is enjoying freelance jobs in photography, including an upcoming shoot of children at an Easter egg hunt. Upon graduation she hopes to pursue printmaking opportunities in the graphic arts.
