Film and digital media luminary Scott Ross has joined the SCAD team, the college announced in a news release.
The co-founder and former CEO of Digital Domain, Inc. will serve as executive advisor to SCAD’s School of Film, Digital Media and Performing Arts. He will help launch SCAD-Hong Kong, scheduled to open Fall 2010.
Ross has been a notable figure in the entertainment and technology industries for more than 30 years. He is credited with leading companies to more than 15 Academy Award nods and seven Oscars, including one for the visual effects in the 1997 blockbuster film “Titanic.” Read More »
