The Savannah-Chatham Metropolitan Police department reported this morning that a female victim was sexually assaulted on the corner of Anderson and E. Broad Street. The victim was approached by three men, two of whom held her down while the other assaulted her.
A motorist drove by and yelled at the suspects, who then fled. The motorist then gave the victim a ride home. The police would like to thank the witness, however, they would also like to speak to them as they left before police arrived.
The three suspects have yet to be caught and police advise being careful in the area. This includes the block around Anderson Hall.
