The Winter Formal, an event organized by SCAD Residence Life and Housing, will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 7-10 p.m. in the Oglethorpe House Ballroom.

According to the event planners, everyone is invited and if you desire to bring a guest who is a non-scad student, then you will just have to simply sign them into the building before entering.

As for the dress code, formal means whatever you want it to mean, the organizers say. If you want to wear a beautiful gown or a simple dress, suit and tie, or jeans and a t-shirt — everything and anything is welcome. It is a night to have fun.

The res-life committee at Oglethorpe house is encouraging guests to dress up. However, they understand that not everyone might want to do so.

Last but not least, food and drink will be provided, but only light snacks will be offered and not full meals. So grab yourself a bite to eat with your friends beforehand or even after.

The night aims to bring all SCAD students together to make some noise and have some fun. So make sure to not miss out on SCAD’s very first Winter Formal. For more information contact SCAD’s resident life and housing group.
