The Vault
This delicious Asian-fusion restaurant is located in the heart of the Starland District. Ele Tran is the restaurateur behind it all. She runs seven restaurants around Savannah. Her husband Sean is the head chef. Some of their other restaurants include Flock to the Wok, Flying Monk, and Fire Street Food.

AJ Grey
Addie Jo Bannerman, who uses the name AJ Grey for her art, is a self-taught artist who paints stunning watercolors. Her studio practice is at The Stables, a creative space full of amazing artists. She was Encore’s Best Female Artist in 2019.

ElonWick Candle Co.
Savannah-based candlemaker, Elondia, has a booming business right here in the city. Last month she was featured in Home Depot’s Black History Month Box, which was a collection of items from Black-owned businesses.

Riverside Tattoo Parlor
Home to five female tattoo artists, Riverside Tattoo Parlor recently opened a second location in the Starland District. Shop owner Lauren Damon won Connect Savannah’s Best Tattoo Artist just last year. These artists have a variety of styles and strive to break down barriers.

Starland Strange and Bazaar
A sweet mix of country-western and southern charm, Starland Strange never disappoints. Emily & Marguerite opened this quirky store in 2019. They have an array of clothing, plants, knick knacks, jewelry and much more. Stop in for an ice cream to cool off as we move into spring!
