The summer months are nearing, and that means a lot of big summer movies are set to release. 2023 has already been a pretty big year in terms of movies, but this summer also looks like it’s going to be even more stacked with exciting releases. Let’s cover the most hyped upcoming releases.
First, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3” releases May 5 (which is close enough to summer) and will be the final installment for the Guardians films. At least the final film that’ll involve series director, James Gunn. I just recently watched both “Guardians of the Galaxy” movies and can now officially say I’m very excited to see this next movie.
Releasing June 2 is “Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse.” This film is a sequel to the 2018 film, “Into the Spider-Verse,” and will be the second film in this soon-to-be trilogy. Everything shown in the preview looks great and everyone seems to be looking forward to it.
In July, there are two particularly interesting movies that are releasing on the same day. The first movie is “Barbie,” a movie that stars Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling and many other well-known faces and is set to release July 15. This movie looks like a lot of fun and I’m very curious to see how it’ll turn out.
On the same day, “Oppenheimer,” the next Christopher Nolan film, drops in theaters. This movie looks interesting, and if it’s anything like “Inception,” I’m sure that it will be great.
