aTVfest set to take place early February

The fourth annual aTVfest will commence early this February. Based at the SCAD Atlanta campus, aTVfest is an international event bringing heavy hitters in the television and production industry to the film and television department.

“The Mindy Project” writer and executive producer Mindy Kaling will be returning to Atlanta for an exclusive panel. Showings for new television shows, including Hulu Original’s “The Path” and ABC’s “The Catch” will premiere. You can find the full schedule at at the aTV fest website.

*If you do not have transportation to get to Atlanta, SCAD Student Involvement has you covered. On Friday Feb. 5 and Saturday Feb. 6, Student Involvement is providing buses for students who would like to take a day trip to the festival. The bus can take will take 40 students on each day. The bus will arrive and leave on the same day.

Dramatic Writing Chair Averie Storck states, “Students are responsible to pick up their tickets to the events at the SCAD Box Office before reserving a seat on the bus. Tickets are free with SCAD ID.”

aTVfest runs between Thursday, Feb. 4 and Sunday, Feb. 7 at the SCAD Atlanta Campus.
