Hillel hosts Passover Seder
The Jewish Student Organization, Hillel, will host its second annual Passover Seder on Saturday, April 19. Students who wish to attend must register by emailing hillel@scad.edu. The Seder starts at 7:30 p.m. and will be held in Temple Mickve Israel at 20 E. Gordon St.

New Moon organizes bazaar
Numerous Savannah College of Art and Design students and faculty will be at the first ever Savannah Market Bazaar on Saturday, April 26, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the old Sears parking lot on the intersection of Henry and Bull Streets. New Moon of Savannah, a new social venture organized to “promote community building through engaging events around the city,” will host the event.

Former MET director to speak
Thomas Hoving, director of the Metropolitan Museum of Art from 1967-77, will speak on Wednesday, April 23 at 7:30 p.m. in the Trustees Theater at 216 E. Broughton St. A reception and book signing will follow in the Red Gallery at 201 E. Broughton Street. Hoving earned his Ph.D., Master of Arts and Bachelor of Arts degrees from Princeton University. He’s had numerous works published, and he currently serves as a consultant to museums and cultural centers through his firm, Hoving Associates Inc. The events are free and open to the public.
