Advertising Design Lecture by Gary Koepke
Gary Keopke, creative director of advertising campaigns for Gap, Hummer and Cadillac, is coming to SCAD Tuesday, April 1, to speak at the Student Center at 120 Montgomery St. He was a founding creative director of Vibe Magazine and has directed music videos for David Byrne and U2. He is also a graphic designer and some of his work is on permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art.

S.A.F.E. Class
S.A.F.E., or Sexual Assault Familiarization Exchange, is a two-hour awareness class that demonstrates physical technique. The class also shows a method of distributing crime prevention information for home study and reference. The class, however, is not a self-defense class, merely awareness. The class will be held Friday, April 4, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Boundary Village on 701 W. Jones St. More information and registration can be obtained from Michelle Montgomery at (912) 525-4502.

“RAPTURE/ New Work” by Steve Locke
SCAD exhibitions and the painting department present “RAPTURE/New Work,” by visiting artist and professor Steve Locke. The series of paintings and lithographs were produced by Locke while at SCAD and are on display at the Hall Street Gallery on 212 W. Hall St. A reception will be held Friday, April 4, from 5 to 7 p.m.
