Christian Siriano glides across the carpet at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival

Christian Siriano is in town for the opening of his first-ever solo exhibition at the SCAD Museum of Art. There, Siriano’s collection of dresses are on display in an exhibit called, “People are People.” His dresses that have been worn by some of the most famous names in the world—Billy Porter, Jill Biden, Lady Gaga, Lizzo, Ariana Grande, Michelle Obama, Celine Dion, and others. While in town, he’s also taking part in some of this year’s SCAD Savannah Film Festival events.

Saturday, he answered a variety of questions about his life and work during “In Conversation with Christian Siriano.” Siriano first made waves in the fashion industry in 2008 when he won the fourth season of “Project Runway.” Since then, he’s never shied away from the spotlight. When he walked the red carpet later Saturday evening and offered several insights into the world of success and how to handle first brushes with fame. “Focus on what you love,” he said. “Perfect your niche.”

Siriano’s solo exhibition will be on display until Sunday, January 30, 2022. For the full interview, check the video here.
