College Security Report: April 14-19, 2008

April 14
14:30 p.m. – Security responded to a vehicle accident at Habersham Hall. A student was backing up and struck a scooter, which knocked over two other scooters. Police responded but no report was filed.

April 15
11:20 p.m. – Security couldn’t secure a door at Habersham Hall. An officer was posted at the door until it could be secured.

April 16
7:45 p.m. – A student reported that his vehicle was damaged while parked in the 49th Street lot. A police report was filed.

8:45 p.m. – Security observed two individuals attempting to enter cars at Alexander Hall. Police were dispatched but the individuals had left. A police report was filed.

April 17
2:26 p.m. – A student became ill at the Gulfstream Center. Emergency medical personnel responded, treated and released the student on site.

10:04 p.m. – An RD reported a power outage in an Oglethorpe House room. The maintenance office was notified.

April 18
8:30 p.m. – Maintenance was notified of an issue in the first floor bathroom at Hamilton Hall.

10:33 p.m. – Maintenance was notified of an issue in the first floor women’s restroom at Jen Library.

April 19
7:21 p.m. – An alarm was activated at Kiah Hall. The building was checked and the alarm was reset.

8:37 p.m. – A student called from Turner House to report that he had sustained an injury off campus. The student was transported for treatment.
