College Security Report May 9-12, 2011
May 9
2:15 a.m. — Security responded to a “trouble” alarm at Eckburg Hall. It was determined that down phone lines caused the alarm. The alarm was silenced and reset.
2 p.m. — A student reported to security that he left his wallet next to his book bag at Adler Hall at 1:30 p.m. The wallet was gone when he returned at 2 p.m.
May 10
8:45 a.m. — Security responded to a call box activation at Boundary Hall. Security arrived at the scene where a non-SCAD individual requested EMS response for abdominal pains.
4 p.m. — Security responded to an alarm at a room of Abercorn Terrace. The alarm was determined to be a false alarm and was reset.
4:50 p.m. — A student reported to security that her bike had been stolen from York Hall. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and issued a crime report.
May 11
2:04 a.m. — Security observed an intoxicated male loitering in the lot of York Hall. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and handled the incident.
1:10 p.m. — A student reported to security that her bike had been stolen from the Oglethorpe House bike rack. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and issued a crime report.
2:30 p.m. — Security responded to an alarm at a room of Abercorn Terrace. Security met the Savannah Fire Department at the scene where it was determined that a student cooking in the room caused the alarm.
4:55 p.m. — A student reported to security that his bike had been stolen from the bike rack at Arnold Hall. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and issued a crime report.
May 12
5:40 p.m. — A student reported to security that his bike had been stolen from York Hall between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Savannah-Chatham Metro Police responded to the scene and issued a crime report.
