When I was sixteen while backpacking around Europe.

What inspires you creatively? Professionally?

My own view of the human experience. Everything can be inspiration.

What are some of the most pressing issues facing today’s fashion designers? Models? Accessory designers?

There are still a lot of issues with racism, unethical production, and problems with copying designs.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Do you have any advise for future SCAD fashion designers or those who are preparing to enter the industry?

Make the clothes that people should be wearing, not the clothes that they are wearing.

How would you categorize your aesthetic?

Walter Van Beirendonck to my left and Jil Sander to my right.

When you think about the future of fashion, what do you see?

A Remo Polack Retrospective at the MET.
