On Thursday, April 21, Lizlak productions hosted a comedy variety performance, “The Show,” in the Student Center. After the event began with a Prince tribute, the crowd energetically welcomed Liz Rodgers, the writer and producer of the event. The sketches were performed in a sitcom style, with audience interaction and student-themed humor.
“Art or fart?” asked Rogers, dressed as a hot dog. Speaking to the audience like old friends, she asked them to, “laugh at what you want to laugh at, don’t feel obligated.”
Sketches varied from the birds and the bees to men in bathrobes and sing-offs. The evening closed with a parody of the circle of life.
