The Savannah College of Art and Design Atlanta campus received an anonymous bomb threat this morning.
Students, faculty and staff were evacuated from the building at 1600 Peachtree Street. The Atlanta Police Department Bomb Squad executed a thorough search both inside and outside the building, but nothing suspicious was found.
SCAD Atlanta has 24-hour security, but there is no evidence that the building’s security was breached at any time.
By 11 a.m. students, professors and staff were welcomed back into the building, and classes resumed.
