News brief: Wells Fargo on Abercorn robbed

 

Police have released photos from the bank security system showing the black male in his early 20’s who handed a teller a note and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash about 2 p.m.

SAVANNAH, Ga. – At about 2 p.m. on April 25, the Wells Fargo Bank at 10422 Abercorn Extension was robbed by a black male in his early 20’s.

The suspect, dressed in a vest, dark sunglasses, and a backwards cap, gave a note to a teller and left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police report that the man went to the La Quinta Inn and Suites Southside at 8484 Abercorn St, where he got into a white Buick LeSabre and drove away.
The Savannah-Chatam Metropolitan Police Department is offering a cash reward for information regarding the crime. Informants will remain anonymous.
