On Friday, April 5, Port City Review, SCAD’s annual student-juried literary arts journal, will celebrate the release of its April 2019 edition with an exhibition of featured artwork at Alexander Hall. The exhibition displays photography, fibers, illustration, painting and more from 26 student artists included in the journal. Many of the pieces in the exhibition are available for purchase. The public can attend the reception from 6 to 7:30 p.m. that evening.

This year’s journal will offer a variety of different covers, featuring designs created by students. The edition will showcase the works of more than 70 students, representing some of the best student artists across all SCAD locations. This will be the publication’s seventh year of production, overseen by the SCAD Student Media Center.

The exhibition will be open Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday, April 1, to Sunday, April 14. Both the reception and gallery are free.
