Rising star recipient Danielle Macdonald empowers SCAD students as future generation

From ‘Killa P’ in “Patti Cake$” to the red carpet at the SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Danielle Macdonald’s booming success in numerous films landed her the Rising Star award Saturday Oct. 26 prior to the gala screening of “The Aeronauts,” directed by Tom Harper. Seeing SCAD students as “the future of this generation,” The Australian actor instilled passion and drive into up and coming performers filmmakers.
