Savannah-based artist brings light to the impact of art

Nae’Keisha Jones is a Savannah-based artist and SCAD alumna, having graduated in 2012 with a B.F.A. in Illustration. Given the prompt, “What does Black History Month mean to you?” Jones describes her identity as an artist innovating change within her work. Inspired by notable illustrators and storytellers such as Kadir Nelson and Don Tate, Nae’Keisha adds her personal style to the ever-thriving art community of Savannah while sharing the love of creating a visual story. Jones is featured on several Savannah news outlets and has recently created work for The Fence Art Project in the Starland District.
