The SCAD Jewelry Department opened their doors to the public to celebrate and share their love for the art of jewelry making. The open house event took place Friday, Feb. 17.

In this student-faculty collaboration event, the SCAD Jewelry Club hosts their annual Jewelry Sale, which features an array of pieces created by current undergraduate and graduate SCAD students. These pieces are made from the highest and purest quality of materials, which lengthens its life span, and results in a timeless, reliable piece. The price ranges below $100, making it affordable for college students.

This year, they provided five different jewelry workshops, allowing other students to get create jewelry. There were workshops such as Enamel Pendants, Paper Jewelry, Glass Bead Forging, Resin Casting, and Beading. Each workshop had student volunteers who assisted the creation of wearable pieces of jewelry.
