Writer and director of “Flower” Max Winkler arrives at the opening night of the 2017 SCAD Savanah Film Festival.
“Flower,” starring Zoey Deutch, follows Erica, a sexually curious teen, who blackmails older men to earn enough money to bail her father out of jail. She soon forms an unorthodox kinship with Luke, the mentally unstable son of her mother’s new boyfriend.
