The SCAD Women’s Lacrosse team won their eleventh game last Saturday, April 22 against the No. 7 Ave Maira University Gyrenes. The final score of 17-10 put the Bees’s seasonal record at 11-1, securing their advancement to the NAIA Invitational Tournament. The Gyrenes finish their regular season with 7 wins and 6 losses.
In every game this season, the Bees scored 13 or more goals. Saturday’s game highlights included senior Joanna Ehatt scoring her 100 career goal. Sydney Knego led the goal count with six goals for six points.
The Bees will play their first game in the 2017 Lacrosse National Invitational against No. 8 Ottawa in Greenville, South Carolina May 4 at 4 p.m.
